It has become known as the North Carolina "High Country."  In the summer, Banner Elk is said to be "air conditioned" by nature.   Fall brings cool weather and the changing of the leaves.  Winter brings  cold weather, and the opening of the ski resorts.      Serenity Haven Main Cabin consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths.  It  will sleep 8. The bedrooms are carpeted. The master bedroom has a king bed. The other 2 bedrooms have queen beds. There is a small room between the master bedroom and master bathroom that has a set of bunk beds. The kitchen and baths  have ceremic tile floors. The living room has beautiful hardwood floors with area rugs. Ceiling fans are throughout the house. This cabin has a gas fireplace, washer, dryer, microwave, three cable color TV's, a  jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom,  a full covered porch with rocking chairs and swing. There is a  gas grill for spring and summer use.  The cabin has a beautiful wood ceiling in the great  room.  There is an outside HOT TUB for the main cabin.      Serenity Haven Lower Level has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It will sleep 8.  It has a queen bed in each of the two bedrooms, and a sleeper sofa in the living area. There is also a set of bunk beds in the utility room. The living room, dining room  and kitchen are one large open area. There is a separate utility room with washer and dryer. The kitchen is equipped with an abundance of cabinets, microwave, coffee maker, and 2 cable color TV. There is a porch with a table, chairs, swing and a grill is available. There is an outside HOT TUB  for the  lower level.    Serenity Haven Cabin Rental has spectacular views of Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Grandfather Mountain.  It is 1.5 miles from LeesMcRae College. It is 4 miles from Beech Mountain and Sugar Mountain Ski Resorts. It is within minutes of  golf courses, trout fishing, and scenic attractions such as Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, The Blowing Rock, Lynn Cove Viaduct, Linville Falls, Linville Caverns, Horn in the West outdoor drama and approximately  20 minutes from the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games site.
